Avi Ben Simhon
Born I947 in Fezze, Morrocco. Avi Ben Simhon has been passionate about his art for as long as he can remember. Growing up in a poor family, six-year-old Ben Simhon would find himself drawing on newspapers with charcoals while other kids were playing in the park. One day he decided to bring home one of his masterpieces. Although he was scared of his mother’s reaction due to the dirt of the charcoal his mother burst into tears at the beauty and talent of her son's work. Today Ben Simhon is one of the most famous Israeli artists with art in over 100 galleries worldwide.
